Time to hang up your stockings….

……..well, it will be in five months time eeek!

It’s also Rudolph Days Challenge being 25th of the month.

I’m trying to get ahead by making a few a month, and I’m also trying to use up all those bits we save because we can’t bear to throw them away! I know I’m not alone in that 😂😂😂

So, here’s some die cut stockings, gifted by a friend,  ready to go….

all they needed was a base card, some plaid paper (love), and a white oval. Not even a sentiment!

I reduced my paper mountain too, and even decorated some envelopes!

There’s only one more thing to do……
dash off to the Rudolph Days Challenge!
Do join in if you can, it’s a great way to get ahead, and great fun too 😃

Mini cards

I cased these mini cards from Patty Bennett, they are so cute.

They’d be great for tags or place names etc.

Sweet Stampin’ Challenge is for Tags, so I just had to share this 😍

Take a sheet of A4, fold in half lengthwise,
place top left of the roof die just hanging over the edge of the fold.
You can cut three from one sheet.

They are so sweet I wish you could see them in real life 😍

Country Birdhouse in colour

Hi there, I’m back with some Country Birdhouse cards, the first was cased from Stampinpretty
I wanted to use some of the new SU colours, which are bright and summery.

I’m taking this to the Snippets Playground Challenge #485,
I have used sooooo many snippets of all colours and papers.

I was then inspired to use a design element from Emma Goddard, CoastalCrafter,
where the house sits at the top of the card.

Allsorts Challenge #790 is flowers, there’s a few here, but anything goes too.

I’d like to make more of these when I have time, using other bright colours.

Addicted to CAS #263 is “nature”, so I’m sharing this one with the bird and flowers.

I’m having such fun with this set…

I end up with a pile mountain of snippets, but only remembered to take a pic of this small one 😂

Have a great day!

Varied vases blooms

Simple Sunday…

Another much loved stamp set, Varied Vases….

I stamped the middle vase, then made masks for all three vases.
I kept the masks on to stamp the flowers.

I then stamped the shelf

Have a great day

Up and away

Hi there, hope your weekend is going well. I thought I’d share today a couple of cards

from an old SU set Up and Away stamps and Lift me Up dies.

Both were inspired by Emma Goddard, Coastal Crafter.
The first one has two panels of blue on foam pads, striped paper panel behind,
Balloons from an old kit, and a few clouds.

Next is one using up some strips of paper left over from another project,
glued to a some white card, used for the left panel, and also behind the balloon die,
using the pattern on the other side of the paper strips.
Stitched clouds blended with blue ink added.

Christmas Country Birdhouse

I’m loving the SU Country Birdhouse, I’ve made quite a few things which I’ll share another day,

but today I’m sharing a couple of Christmas ones because there’s a couple of challenges to enter.

First card uses up one the wreaths I cut last year 🙄

I’ve used the Country Woods paper……love that too 😍,
added some glittery snow from Snippets and a “Robin”.
Entering Krafty Chicks and Peace on Earth

I love how you can create different birds just by colouring in accordingly.
The die set is fab for using up lots of snippets….offcuts used for the stand, shelf etc.

I had a few leftover copper foiled leaf embellishments from an old kit,
which I placed behind the house, then cut more leaves from the leftover foil.
Entry for Allsorts challenge and Addicted to Stamping and MyNbus

Some more glittery snow, then I had a dilemma ……

Without…..or with the sentiment….I can’t decide!
Entry for Sweet Stampin

Here’s just some of the snippets used…..so I can go and play in the
Snippets Playground Challenge #484 (I’m designating the first card, at the top of the post,
as that’s the one I picked for the thumbnail photo)
and Stamping Sensations

Have a great day

Challenges entered….
Allsorts week 788 anything goes
Sweet Stampin’ things with wings
Peace on Earth #67 anything goes

Friendly Hello

I’m still loving the Flight and Airy papers…

which is good because I have quite a bit left 😂

This time I paired it with Friendly Hello, with a different bird, and larger flowers,
coloured to go with the background paper.

Enjoy our day

Lincolnshire wildlife and crazy golf

We had a recent trip to Thorpe Culvert, near Skegness, Lincolnshire.

It was a fabulous site, everyone so friendly, very peaceful, and spotless.

There was lots of wildlife, birds, ducks, moorhens etc, but we also found a fabulous wildlife park nearby.

If you can bear it (ha ha), there’s lots of pics….

Reindeer

Feeding the Budgerigars

White Lions

Tigers

Panther (black, not pink 😃)

Tapir

Tiger, pacing

Giant Tortoise

Hundreds of parrots

Our “Monty”

View from the pitch

New mugs

There was a small station at the end of the lane with trains into Skegness….
(Unidentified ragamuffins 😂)

A lovely old church nestled among trees

Hope you’re having a good weekend!
See you tomorrow with a card or two….
