An ATC for autumn

An ATC for “Tag-along and ATC’s”

I messed around for hours  a while until I decided to use a scrap of grapefruit card
that was almost the exact size for an ATC, it just needed slight trimming one side.
I used a beautiful but long retired SU stamp (Soft Seedlings)for the leaf background.
The A&C Acorn Collage set had the words, and I used the seed heads from the SU set,
stamped using three coloured inks, then fussy cut.

I edged the sides of the words with a blend pen, maybe I should have done the same on the main card?
Any tips welcome, as I am very much a novice in this area.

I’m taking this to:

Thanks for taking the time to visit, and I really appreciate your comments

Take care and see you soon

  1. Wow - this little ATC is brimming with autumn goodness. Love it!

As far as edging the main card goes - it would tie in nicely with the edged words if you added it. I always think coloured edging looks nice. I often use a gold calligraphy pen with a chisel tip.

Be careful when using pens to edge the ATC with - it’s easy to slip and add a pen streak to the front of the ATC (ask me how I know!).🙄 Xxx

    1. Funny you should say that…. I did it when urgently finishing a card 😩, had to quickly hide it 😳😂

  2. It seems you're enjoying this collage idea and this is a great ATC with an autumnal feel. Impressive fussy cutting too, had to take a closer look to check if they were actual winged seeds😊.

  3. A real little beauty Lesley, never seen a 'helicopter' stamp before (did we all call them that as children?) and so effective in different colours onto your ATC, many thanks for joining us at Tag-Along (and ATC's) Autumn challenge.

With edging, I often run an inkpad along the edges, or with sentiments if flat on work, a fine line pen around the edges after fixing in place gives a nice shadow effect.

  4. This is beautiful and your fussy cutting is so precise. As for edging I like to do that and have the good side facing away from me, then if you slip it is usually on the side that isn't the art work. Thanks so much for taking part at Tag-along (and ATCs) challenge.
