Hi, today I’m sharing a card for a couple of favourite challenges.
I am loving Stampin’ Up! Arch dies, and coordinating stamp Arched Wishes.
This was simply stamped (stamping is what makes me happy),
I added a few sequins to some of the letters, and used a snippet of the leftover dotty paper,
to stamp, fussy cut, and fold, intending to look like a paper case.
It didn’t work quite as well as planned, and now I worry what it looked like for the recipient,
having gone through the postal system, as it may have got squished 😳😂🙄🙈

Something about arch shaped dies that always pleases when card making Lesley (so do cupcakes!), many thanks for sharing a 'Happy' with us at Allsorts challenge.

This is a fun card and I do hope your clever idea for the pleated cake case survived the post🤞. Thanks for joining us at Allsorts and sharing that stamping makes you happy - me too.
ReplyDeleteI love the arched shape too. Lovely papers and a delicious looking cupcake! Awesome. Am sure the recipient loved it! xxx
ReplyDeleteOops, I think I forgot to thank you for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. Soz! Thanks for coming over though! The slide is now dry! xxx
ReplyDeleteLovely card! Thanks for sharing with us at Allsorts challenge.
ReplyDeleteAdding the sequins to the letters is so cool. What a fun card and I hope it didn't get smooshed in the mail.
ReplyDeleteA lovely card Lesley - and I do like an arched die as well! Mine are plain ones but I do like the pierced effect on your die you used!

The use of sequins instead of the letter O is brilliant. Lovely card, Lesley!
ReplyDeleteI saw your card on the Snippets Playground.
