Flower Garden Trio from Uniko

I was delighted with this new to me Flower Garden set from Uniko

(Originally Organic Flower Garden)

The owner Bev and her team always come up with fabulous designs to inspire.

Incidentally she has a free postage and special offer this weekend HERE.

This one uses the Arch dies from SU to make a shaped card.

I blended an inked background after stamping in green.
Coloured with blend pens.

I used the arch die cut waste (frame) as a mask to blend a background.

I stamped the big flower offset, and stamped and fussy cut extra flowers to place on top.
As I used white offcuts for this, I’m popping over to the Snippets Playground
although I forgot to take a picture of my snippets 🫩

I do like a square card, and this time I used masking tape to create the background,

adding the big flower as before.

I added gems to all, embellishments lift a card, and most will go through the post.
Here’s all three, that were fairly quick makes.

As this is the first time using this set, I’ll also take the square card to My NBUS #81

Enjoy your day

On Display

I needed quite a few birthday cards for December, and wanted to use another new set from SU,

that features a “dresser” or “armoire”, and lots of things to go on the shelves, called On Display.

I used wood grain paper from SU for the dresser, then filled it with books, cats, and ornaments.

Allsorts #838 anything goes

Treescape with Light and Wonder

Today’s card is using another new set, Light and Wonder.

It has various landscape dies, this was my first quick experiment.

(I can assure you there’ll be more “light and wonder” next time!)

The background paper is Peaceful Garden SU.
I used SU two toned green paper, cut the trees background,
then one of the other dies with the contrasting side, and used the waste bits to infill.
(The pale background paper would have shown through otherwise).

I’m assuming the black line is a piece of thread on my camera lense?!
