If you’re not familiar with the Crafty Carrot Collective, do take a look.
and I particularly enjoyed making a barn or shed door.

It’s the first time I’ve got around to playing with these sets from Uniko.
I got inspiration from their blog for this trio….

I really wanted to enter the Allsorts challenge this week, but had nothing fishy to hand,
so next best is a prize I won from them and haven’t used yet, a large corner stamp from Crafty Roo,
(my memory is getting worse, so please tell me if that’s not right).
Edited to add…….the gorgeous stamp was a prize from the Snippets Playground!
I stamped two bees, using snippets of white, then fussy cut the main body and top wings to add dimension.
Then I faffed around 😂 with the card base and mount.
I ended up fussy cutting around the large corner,
and also cut my base card, from a square to more of a rectangle, as it just didn’t look right.
I’m entering the following challenges…..
Allsorts #798 (anything goes)
NBUS #66 (never before used)
Snippets Playground #489 (use snippets)
We love stamping (hand coloured)
Hand stamped sentiments #447 (mood board, bottom mountain pic colours)

Happy Birthday Di!

It’s like someone pressed a switch from summer to autumn!
I think I may have blinked and missed summer to some extent…..just busy I guess.
So I’m popping by with a couple of autumn cards for men…
I stamped and inked the relaxing man and the tree, cutting them out to sit on the paper background.
I’m taking this to the Allsorts Challenge #797 “autumn colours.”
Here’s the second card with the other half of the embossed piece.
This is the border die set…
I’m taking this to the Inkspirational Challenge #324 “make your mark”,
I’ve coloured with inks using a brush, blending brush, and blending pen.
Hope it’s warm and dry where you are!
Lesley
This one is based on the spotlight technique.
Stamped the flowers to cover the front, die cut a circle,
coloured it with blends, layered it up on some Lemon Lolly card.

I’ve liked some cards I’ve seen using black as the base, here’s the results.
Firstly I die cut the trees leaving the pieces intact, giving the solid pieces texture.
I added gold stars and die cut greeting .

Hi there, sorry but more Christmas cards again…
Here’s a pic of my snippets
And it would seem my creativity started early…..a cousin found this Kentish Times clipping of me at a craft event, when I was 6 years old! I do remember always drawing.
I was encouraged and inspired by artistic family members.
One of my cousins even holds art exhibitions of his paintings, way beyond my own expectations.
I collected the sweet “cigarette” cards, and often tried to draw the animals and birds.
I loved doing school projects that I could add illustrations to……happy days!
I have to take this homework over to the
Snippets Playground Challenge #488,
where there’s more fabulous prizes!
Do join the fun if you can, they’re a fabulous friendly group, often getting up to shenanigans in the treehouse, holding skipping sessions, or just playing on the swings.
Take care and see you soon
