Christmas wreaths with Santa

Today I have another couple of  Christmas cards,

both using a wreath die from SU, but completely different.

Love the Gummiapan Santa, sitting on a pine branch,
having a well deserved rest 😃., before he rushes off to join the Allsorts Challenge #804,
where the theme is cute and/or cuddly…..I think Santa is both don’t you?….
If not, there’s the anything goes category.

This one uses poinsettia flowers,SU, and also the SU wreath.

I’m taking this one to the Snippets Playground #492 ….

I remembered to take a picture of my Snippets too…..
die cut from small pieces of cardstock and bagged up.

Mid century modern wreath

A couple more Christmas cards to share……stamps from Uniko,

and I’ve cased this first one from their blog…….

This was my favourite, the wreath is not meant to line up, and it’s good to get out of our comfort zone.

This below however was my first attempt and is ….ahem….words fail me 😂

Let’s just say….not quite what was in my head, then I kept adding bits….
I should have just stopped, but maybe someone will like it 🤔🙈😳

Uniko are having a celebration, so do visit for inspiration.

I’m entering the Rudolph day challenge with the first card.

Pink for the cure with Reindeer Days

I’m back with another entry to the Jingle Bells Pink Christmas

SU Reindeer Days and Spotlight on Nature dies, (a stand alone set of circles, soooo gorgeous),
and an SU embossing folder Woodland Textured, not used for a while.
I cut a red nose a few times, adding wink 😉 so it stands out.
The bells were cut from gold foil, the berries red glitter paper.

I was quite pleased with this……now do I add a sentiment….or not? 🤔

Taking this to :

Jingle Bells, pink for the cure for breast cancer,
where there’s a donation by two lovely ladies to breast cancer research.

In the pink for the cure

Hi, thanks for dropping in, this one is mainly for Jingle Bells,

pink Christmas for breast cancer ….

Using SU Yuletide Village and Falling Snow

I used different pink inks for everything except the trees.
I used scraps of card instead of foam pads, to raise the foreground images.
It’s something I do a lot, as it uses up scraps, and easier for posting.
It’s a lovely background stamp, and I built the village from a small selection of the stamps.
Lots of wink of Stella for sparkle.

Water lilies

Another fairly simple Duck pond, using the DSP, which is quite bright.

I blended a blue background in the centre, creating a waterline,
with die cut elements from coordinating card

This set has lots of potential for different looks, and I do like watching ducks 😃

I’m taking this to the Allsorts Challenge #802 (anything goes)

and the Snippets Playground #491, as I used lots of paper scraps for the diecuts.

Both challenges have fabulous prizes.

Me and my Teddy Bear….

 Hello,

I have a friend who loves teddy bears, and I bought these dies a while ago,

so it was time to play…

These are all Gummiapan dies, plus a strip of old paper, resembling wallpaper.
I did highlight them with a blend pen, to emphasise the detail,
not sure if it was better without, but too late to change my mind!

My favourite bits are the floor and train….love the little choo choo 😃

I used lots of little snippets to build all the elements, but forgot to take a photo again 🙄

I think Miss Di will accept my home work though at the

Snippets Playground #490

It’s also the first time using the bears and presents, so I’ll also visit

My NBUS #67

Thoughts are with those suffering horrendous conditions around the world.

Layers of Beauty (2)

Hello again, a few more cards from the Layers of Beauty set…

A favourite so far is this lemon one…

Embossed background with Timeworn Type, cut off part of the design and laid onto a tag from Greetings of the Season, added gold thread, enamel dots and lots of splattered wink of Stella 😉

Next was inked with Coastal Cabana, same embossing folder, and the complete image.

Lastly, inspired by Emma Goddard, Coastal Crafter, inked with Pretty in Pink,
although it looks red in the photo , and stamped on the edges.

I haven’t put any sentiments on, as I’ll personalise them for Birthdays when needed.
Here’s the trio…

I’m entering the first, lemon card, into the following….

Seize the Birthday, anything goes,

Allsorts 801, anything goes

The Flower challenge #96, add a stencil (5 layering ones used)

Layers of Beauty

 Happy World Card Making Day!

I’m sharing a couple of makes using the Layers of Beauty Bundle….oh my, this is sooooo pretty.

First, stamped the image, next used the five layering stencils to colour it in with ink blending brushes.

Then die cut it. So easy! There’s lots of extra dies too, as well as more stamps in the set.
I cut the top panel in half, did the same with the die cut, and stamped the sentiment in the gap.

This one I splattered and added a white heat embossed sentiment on black card.
I had to add embellishments too of course!

Hope you enjoy your day
