Hugs from Shelli (1)

We got very excited to have the chance to experience a special

 Paper Pumpkin Kit "Hugs from Shelli" from Stampin' Up!

I took mine on a short weekend break recently

(my long suffering Alan gets chance to read his newspaper in peace :)

I tried to add my own twist on some of them.

There's 4 designs to play with.

Pre-printed cards make it easy, as do the matching envelopes.

The stamp set is very cute and versatile, and coordinates with the new Birds Ballad Suite.

I added some ink splodges to the background,

then gently coloured the eggs, nest and leaves with wink of stella and some ink

I also stamped a feather and coloured it in to match,

adding the die cut flowers.
