For George

Am loving the new "The Open Sea" stamp set from Stampin' Up!
here's one I did for Grandad George...
Not had much time to experiment, but this is a brilliant one for layering stamped images,
and as I've not got many men's sets, you might see this again!
Inking the torn edges made it look charred and old, and I punched small circles from cardstock to make faux brads.....and distressed the small blue layer with the edges of scissors, which gives it more texture..
There's other fab examples on other peoples blogs...
am loving juliesjapes.blogspot.co.uk...

welcome baby Darcie Rose

Here's the one I made to welcome baby Darcie Rose into the world!
cute as a button!
added a little pearl, and a snippet of ribbon for the 'blanket'!
the pink ruffled ribbon easily gives a lush look,
and stamps are easy to 'decoupage' too!

For Sue...

Here's another card I made, based on the one my "sweet pea designs by Sarah"  sent me..
 yet more cupcakes!

Diagonal plate

More Stampin' Up! news....
in the new mini, not only have we now got the amazing Scoreboard,
but they've let us have the diagonal plate to go with it!
It's great for envelopes, boxes, and anything else you can think of ?!
contact me if you'd like more info......or the chance to try mine out!!!!!

and you can make it to any size too!
contact me if you'd like the instructions....
obviously the chocolates went down well!
here's a closer look......
using the postage stamp punch....(secretly hope this will make it into the new main catalogue in october)
and the new "bordering on romance" stamp set.....
which I'm actually liking left plain at the mo & not coloured in....
with some "twitterpated" dsp paper (love the name!)
rhinestones. and the gorrrrrggggeous pleated ribbon...
and here's the choccie.....!!!!
oooops! of course many other choccies are available !!

Happy Birfday yesterday Lorna!

Sharon

You know what they say about buses!......
Happy Birthday to my lovely friend Sharon,
also a bit late!
Good job I hand - delivered this one,
as it's a bit "dimensional".......
I had fun making the "flower", which is simply
punched circles with a brad in the middle,
wetted the layers, then gave it a good scrunch!

Sarah....

Happy Birthday Sarah!
Sorry this post is late!
Sarah, my SU "mummy" has the same birthday as my real Mum,
how spooky is that!

Alfie!

Happy Birthday Alfie!
2 Years old already!
