Peaceful Cabin

I’m still making Christmas cards, but these were made last month with a dear friend.

She is generous in so many ways, including with her talent and  craft stash!

The background paper was die cut (Chloe I think), partially cutting poinsettias.

I used SU Peaceful Cabin….stamped and diecut.
I had stamped direct and made a pigs ear of it!
I also stamped subtle snowflakes on the paper.

I’m taking this to the Peace On Earth challenge #78

I liked the look of the happy accident, so went with the trees from the same set next.

The poinsettias had tiny foam pads a under the petals to keep them raised,
and lots of glitter was added to both.

I’m taking this to the Allsorts Challenge #811, anything goes.

Take care and see you soon

Lesley

  1. Loving both of these great cards and they are a reminder that I've not used that stamp set myself this year - so far anyway. You may have spurred me on to look it out and have a play even though I don't really need any more Christmas cards 😊

  5. Both of these cards are beautiful and bring a true sense of peace in the way you created them. The cabin and trees look so peaceful and the poinsettias look so decorative and pretty. I just love the color scheme of both cards.
