Here’s a set I acquired recently from SU, “You are remarkable”.
One of the reasons I got it was the two teeny tiny 🐝 bees 😍,
I also like the flower and sentiment…..
Daffodil card base, Corrugated embossed layer…
I used to have a crimping machine, (do you still have one?……..), but much prefer this new folder….
I wrapped some yellow ribbon around it.
Then using the arch dies, a piece of designer paper, and a white layer,
upon which I stamped and coloured with blends.
It’s the first time with the stamp set and the corrugated folder, so heading over to
Thanks for taking the time to visit, and I really appreciate your comments
Take care and see you soon
Lesley

Oh yes I do remember the crimping machine but no idea where mine might be now - possibly given away during one of my (rare) tidying and clearing out sessions. Lovely composition and a great new stamp set - the bees are a really useful addition to your stash - cute too. Really cheering to see this pretty floral card in Spring colours 'cos it's another grey and wet day here 😒
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely and very useful stamp set.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty flower and I love the tiny bees and delightful sentiment (or should that be scent-iment?!). The background is brilliant too. All in all an awesome card.
Yes, I used to have a crimper thing but often twisted the paper as I wound it through. It has long disappeared from my craft room!!!! Xxx
It's beautiful Lesley, a lovely design with the flower and sentiment framed by the arch die, the corrugated background adds texture and interest, love the fresh yellow and green combo with all the white space.
ReplyDeleteYes, I still have a crimper thingy stashed away somewhere, like Sarn I found the paper often twisted so the EF sounds like a better alternative!
xx
Beautiful card and flower, love the arch and of course the little Bees(I love Bees, I have Bee bedding/dishes/plates/mugs/earrings/brooch/artwork/pottery/plaques and a leather Bee embossed journal my son bought me for Christmas) I used to have the crimper too but got rid of most of my craft stuff to local school a couple of years ago-a major declutter!

So pretty with the yellow and a great stamp. I don't think I ever succumbed to a crimper!
