Heartfelt Sympathy

It'll be a difficult day today....
we are saying goodbye to Alan's dear Granddad,
who reached the grand age of 95.

I'm sure we'll give him a good send-off,
and we will celebrate his life.



He will be at peace now, with his late wife,
and we will have lovely memories to treasure.

I plan to do a Scrapbook with some of his photos.

He absolutely loved gardening.....that's where he was happiest,
and Alan is following the tradition of  growing vegetables,
having learnt so much from his Granddad.
Life will be rich from the harvest,
and from having him in our lives.

    so sorry to hear about your Grandad.
    I lost both mine in my teenage years.
    Super card made for just this very sad occasion.

    Hi Lesley . . . sorry I missed this post yesterday. I'm glad it all went well and it's a lovely idea to celebrate his life rather than mourn his death.
