White Stag White Christmas

This was inspired by Ros, a very talented teamie.
Inked and embossed the folder, to give shadow to the trees,
and was meant to mount a tag on the front.
However,
it was one of those nothing-goes-quite-right kinda days
(do you get those too?!)
and I chopped off his legs, which just didn't look right at all.
So,
second attempt, heat embossed him in white again,
and left it as a rectangle.

He is a handsome chap dontchathink?
The white twine sets him off a treat.

I haven't got this set......so another one to add to the wish list!

  1. This is a really pretty card. I love that white embossing on the deer and the background is just right for the deer. Chopping off his legs is normally what I do so I can relate! The finished card came out great.

  3. Oh yes! He definitely needs his feet to get around. I love the serenity of that wintery scene! Those embossed and inked trees! Whoo!
