Snoopy and CB in the snow…or not

Hello, I hope you’re not suffering too much with the weather, wherever you are.

It’s wet and windy in the Uk, but a good excuse to hide in the craft room 😃

I’m sharing a few cards today using another old wooden stamp….this does make me chuckle…

This was a card for one of our favourite bloggers and friend, who has the cutest white dog….
I used the Gummiapan stamp in the background, and layered the greeting.

My initial idea though, was for Christmas, as it looked to me like they were in the snow.

The tricky bit was that when I coloured it in I realised Snoopy is white too 🙄

So my next one was on white card instead of crumb cake…

…which was a lot easier!
I coloured the sky etc, added some shadows, and left the rest 😉

I’ll leave you with a favourite cartoon….

Hope you have a lovely weekend

Lesley

  2. Love the Peanuts cartoons and you've made some great variations using this stamp. Super colouring. Had to smile at the donuts one too 🤣

  3. Great cards Lesley!
Love the way you have been able to make the image work for both birthdays and Christmas! Not many images you can do that with!
It is nice to delve back into our older old stash and give it a new lease of life isn't it.
    Have a good weekend.
    Love Jules xx

  4. Ha ha! This made me chuckle. Great cards.
Thanks for the tip about splatter. I will try it closer to my card next time and see if that's better. I guess you have to hold your breathe at the same time! :o)
