2018 Autumn/Winter Catalogue by Stampin' Up

Want to see a fun video from Stampin' Up!........
grab a cuppa, sit back and relax....

Want to see something completely different?

A lovely friend came over with her Gelli plate, paints and stuff.
We had such fun making backgrounds, way out of my comfort zone,
then I had to try and come up with something to share.

This is Guinevere.....
I tried to make the sunrays using a die as a stencil, its a bit too subtle.
Then I added the seahorse.....its so not to scale, in the wrong place.

One thing I tried was to continue the ground from the rock pile, using a fine pen,
which kinda worked. I also added gold sparkle to her hair and tail.
Pics not good but for a Gelli first it was fun, and that's the main thing.
I have more ideas in the pipeline.....

  2. LOVE the added sparkle and the other extra details too. I think it looks great and NO-ONE will thing about the perspective of the seahorse in relation to the beautiful mermaid, I assure you!

  3. Wow, I love your card Leslie! I think the seahorse is great and in the right place, it looks like he is floating down to the mermaids hand. So cool looking! I also think your rays of sunlight coming through look just like it does in real life coming through the water, so pretty and I love that it is subtle. You got a cool print for your background and to me it makes the perfect underwater scene. I love it! I'm not into Gelli Plate printing-it kinda scares me. lol But love seeing what other are doing with it. Hugs, Brenda
