It’s a fine fancy fold too, with a pop up inside (Cased from Kim Fee)
All the birds were fussy cut from the Designer Series Paper.

Have a great weekend,
and do hop over to the Allsorts challenge for lots of inspiration and fabulous prizes

Take care and see you soon

Gift cards with Reindeer fun

Happy Rudolph Day! (a bit late)

Time to enter the Rudolph Day Challenge….

(A)
I used (SU) Reindeer Days paper again and fussy cut the Reindeer,
retired lush paper, and the snowy hill from the Greetery.
These are gift card/money holders.

(B)
I had to weight them closed to take a picture, but I tried to create a comical scene,
one is about to crash into the snowman, the other about to do the splits on the ice! 😂

You might notice the shiny foil…..

Take care and see you soon

Reindeer fun with Allsorts

I can’t resist entering the Allsorts Challenge again,

this week the theme is Ribbon or Twine….

I used red and white twine for this, using the SU set Reindeer Fun.
I stamped the snowflake background with SU Snowflake Sky,
die cut the aperture into shimmery white card,
added Greetery hills in white and glitter card, fussy cut the deer from the SU paper,
and added the embellishments.

The weather has been quite dull recently, and whilst writing this post I noticed something odd.
I must have taken pics of this card in two positions, trying to get the best light.

The thumbnail photos showed a distinct difference in the white/irridescent glitter paper..
the first set of photos looks blue and the second pink !🧐

Anyway, I’m taking this to the Allsorts Challenge #808 (twine),

I used snippets for the snowy hills and embellishments.

Both have fabulous prizes 😉

Take care and see you soon

Magical village

Another card for Stamping Sensations November Challenge

This time using SU Yuletide Village.

I coloured with blend pens and fussy cut the village,
after I’d stamped it in a pale blue, for the snow,
so I didn’t have to cut that part.

This will probably be in the anything goes theme,
although I think this stamp set is magical 😃

Take care and see you soon

Magical Christmas

Hello, another Christmas card, with the

Stamping Sensations Challenge in mind….

For a cat loving friend…..

Trees Gummiapan, cat die Cheery Lynn Designs,
and an old SU Santa, from Hearts come home.
I simply used a stencil for the background.

Take a look at the wonderful inspiration at

I hope I’ll qualify for the “magical theme” or anything goes 😃

Take care and see you soon

Two weddings….

I can’t remember making a wedding card…..although that could just be the grey cells 🙄,

but I happened to know two couples getting wed after being together many years,

so set about making these….

I had the blank cards on my desk for some time, inspiration sparked by Kim Fee.

Stamped the car from an old SU set Driving By,

used wink of Stella for sparkle, die cut a heart border “road”

and gold heat embossed “congratulations” .

I used a stitched rectangle nesting die to cut it the white layer out, backed by a larger gold one.
I decided to add two gold hearts on top of the cut outs,
to signify the joining of two hearts in a subtle non slushy way 😂.

The gold and white layers were Snippets, and the die cut hearts, so I’m going to the
Snippets Playground #493 for a hot chocolate,
Allsorts Challenge #807 has a food and drink theme, but this is for the Anything Goes option,
although there was a lot of food and drink at the weddings!😂

Take care and see you soon

Allsorts Christmas

Hey there I’m sharing this one with the

Allsorts Challenge #806

Theme is Christmas, and this fits the bill as it uses some Lavinia stamps.

The words stamp was a gift from a friend, the tree has tiny fairies decorating it.

I can’t remember what possessed me to use lemon lime twist card,
but hey, it’s nice and bright!
I splattered snow using watered down white craft ink, somewhat heavy hand,
It became a blizzard 😂

I stamped and heat embossed in black and white, (black has irridescent powder )
then coloured the tree lights with some really old Sakura pens that still work!
I love their pens, they’ve never let me down.
Photos are worse than usual due to the very dull days.

See you  over at the Allsorts blog…

Snowy and Hedgy

Hello again, for today’s I used a Penny Black wooden stamp,

coloured in and fussy cut.

I then placed them on some SU background paper, for a quick card,
adding some wink of stella sparkle

Just a quick tip before I go, do check your blogger comments occasionally,

as I’m often finding the odd one here and there that goes into spam or gets lost.

Justine Hovey inspired

Two more cards for the box, inspired by Justine Hovey,

showing things can be quick and simple, although I’m not so good at the quick!

Using SU In Colour cardstock, die cut pine leaves and letters

Same but different…..

Quite like the fresh colours and modern feel……what do you think?
