In the country…lane

 Here’s some easy peasy water colouring…

Stamped in green, gently and quickly went over with a water brush, spreading the colour a bit.

Added a bit of brown Blend pen on the track

I then used a piece of the stamp packaging waste as a mask.

Made a pencil mark where the horizon was, to blend some colour for sky and land.

For the next one I just blended a blue background, the rest was similar,

but using paper for the background , blending ink on the sentiment.

Added some metallic dots for interest.

Purples, Snippets and snowflakes

 Happy Rudolph Day!

25th of the month again eeeeeeek!

I noticed some challenges that gave me some ideas where to start….

Music, Purples, dies, and Snippets were the main ones.

So took a snippet of sheet music, sponged with ink, then stamped the greeting.

Die cut some snowflakes, and added some bling gems.

Mini Tree with Birds

 Happy weekend crafty friends.

A friend was having a give-away whilst sorting her craft room, and I spotted this cute stamp

It is very tiny indeed, so a bit of a challenge to colour in.

I mounted it onto a 3” square card, with some coordinating blue and green, 

and stamped an envelope to go with it.

Above shows it with a 6” square card for scale.

Birthday parcels

 Hello crafty friends,

I’m sharing some new to me crafty stash today.

A useful Happy Birthday background stamp, and a cute little die of presents, Doodled Gifts,

Ideal for paper piecing!

I thought I’d be clever…..cut 3 lots of paper, mix ‘em up and have 3 cards, simple..

…….NOT when you don’t plan it out properly, 

Ended up with two colours the same, hence had to use an insert from card, not paper, doh.

This was my first trial make….

A great way of using up lots of your paper snippets, albeit fiddly,

but I do a lot of faffing, so that’s ok.

I also used up some old matt dots that coordinated.

I’m so happy, I’m skipping over to the

Snippets Playground

(for using snippets)

and

MyNBUS

(for never before used schtuff)

Saying Thanks Kit for birthdays

 Loved this kit but didn’t want lots of thank yous, needed birthday cards, so…..

Stamped and die cut some sentiments to replace the ones in the kit…

Fussy cut the “you” below….

Used the iridescent square embellishments…nice and flat for posting.
