My June Swap

I had a lovely day recently, sharing crafty time with some friends,
and this was the swap I made for them....

You may have noticed I've been using Lovely as a Tree a lot!
Well, this is another one using the often-overlooked leaf accents.

I used the new IN COLOUR inks,
by daubing them through a mask I'd made with a leaf on some copy paper.
(Was actually quite difficult, but they are worth it!)

I then laid down a couple of strips of the red (really sticky) tape,
and rubbed in some gilding flakes I've had for AGES and not used!
(Do you ever get that feeling?)

I mounted them on some black card,
which really shows them off
(better IRL as usual!)

Have a good weekend!
lots of love

  1. Oh my, I loved what you did with the leaf set. I always love the autumn colors anyway, and your treatment of this pretty stamp set is great. Love the gilding on the sticky tape too.TFS & glad you enjoyed the Darnell card. I got a bit too wordy on that post! Hugs

  2. I've always loved that Lovely as a Tree stamp set, and I love that you've used the leaves to create this pretty card! Beautiful borders too! Thanks for the July 4th wishes and your visit to my blog :) Have a great weekend!

  3. Fantastic use of that beautiful and often overlooked Oak Leaf Lesley. I love how you coloured it.

    Hugs, Sarn xxx
