Lesley's Craftroom is now open!

Well here's my beautiful space before I trashed it!

And this is what I've done to it now!
Oh well!
Work in progress! It'll look better when I get some shelves?!

Happy Mother's Day

Hope all you lovely Mums had a lovely day,
and that you were thoroughly spoilt by your children?!
Always want to make BIG cards for this day,
(these were 8"x8")
so here's what I came up with for our Mums....

Normally I do two the same, but I had so many ideas this time,
hence the big bow with the lush wide ribbon,
and then I just had to try  the gorgeous free DSP on the other,
with two ribbons, dotted scallop and velvet trim....
pearls and diamonds too of course!

Hope you enjoyed your special day!

Creative Elements....

Another rushed one, but wanted to make it look special, for my dear Sister-in Law
that I don't see nearly enough......

My starting point was the gorgeous wide grosgrain ribbon that I've been itching to try out.....
(I've seen so many beautiful projects made with this)
and used the colour coach to decide on the combo of rich razzleberry, early espresso, and pretty in pink...
which I love so much, I might have to use it again.....hmmmm....
maybe mother's day.......
(and not forgetting those lush pearls again!)
Check out the "Creative Elements" stamp set....I reckon it's a major must-have!

Mr & Mrs!

Congratulations to a lovely couple who deserve every happiness for the future!
I haven't had much time to "play" lately,
and I seem to end up rushing against the clock get my cards made in time,
but I was quite pleased with this one for
John and Deborah xxx

The stamp is from "Ain't Love Grand", with "Tiny Tags", Dotted Scallop punch, and some lush ribbon
(and yes, my bows definitely need some work!).
I just had to take a close-up of the touch of glitter and crystal effects
on the car window and tin cans, because it's a cute touch for any project......try it!
(and yes, my photography needs work too!)
