Happy Anniversary

Happy Christmas eve....
and Happy Anniversary to my mum and dad, yesterday.

I used the Apothecary Accents Framelits, Vintage wallpaper embossing folder,
lots of stamp sets, crochet trim, pearls, glitter paper,
all in red and gold.
Underneath is the envelope I stamped, so they didn't mix it up with their xmas card!

I was also chuffed to attend the christening of Darcie Rose yesterday too!

I hope you have a wonderful christmas, and that santa brings you something nice!

Happy Birthday Mum and Dad!

Mum is 80 today, and Dad is 80 tomorrow,
and we've had a lovely few days together.
Mum's card is Creative Elements in Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party & Rose Red,
blingy because she's worth it!
Dad's is The Open Sea and Motorcycle ,
in Wisteria, Pool & Island Indigo...
Was able to use the lush ruffled ribbon on both,
and really enjoyed making these,
partly because I had some quality time to spend on them for a change....
and time to reflect on how lucky we are to have them....
special cards for special people xxx

Creative Elements....

Another rushed one, but wanted to make it look special, for my dear Sister-in Law
that I don't see nearly enough......

My starting point was the gorgeous wide grosgrain ribbon that I've been itching to try out.....
(I've seen so many beautiful projects made with this)
and used the colour coach to decide on the combo of rich razzleberry, early espresso, and pretty in pink...
which I love so much, I might have to use it again.....hmmmm....
maybe mother's day.......
(and not forgetting those lush pearls again!)
Check out the "Creative Elements" stamp set....I reckon it's a major must-have!
