Bloomin Birthday

Had a play at faux mother of pearl technique....
made some backgrounds....
what to do....

Here's one of them...
layered it on black...a tip from Eileen and Sarn..
happened to have some bermuda bay card on the desk....
that'll make a nice base.

Did some heat embossing with black ink,
chopped it up,
punched a butterfly from the left overs.

Looks far better in real life.

Have a Super Sunday

  5. These backgrounds are wonderful. Just tried this technique (without having the right supplies...just used some pearl ink acrylic). It was fun, but my efforts didn't look nearly so pretty as yours do here. These will make marvelous cards just as stand alone pieces, but when you added the silhouette stamp & the butterfly, was definitely a big WOW! TFS & Happy Sunday.
