Feathered Friends

I just had to share one of the birthday cards I received.
I know I shouldn't have favourites.
I was a very lucky girl to have received some lovely, lovely cards,
and I am extremely grateful, and appreciate every single one,
but there's just something about Ros's....

The feather, top, second from left, is white heat embossed.
The stamp is a tad smaller than the die, so you get that lovely 'frame'
around the stamped image.
The vellum panel and feather, and the ribbon,
adds luxurious detail.

Thank you to everyone who took the trouble, to send,
and make, some lovely cards.
I will endeavour to show some of the hand made ones another day.

  1. I've seen this one up close and personal and it really is a lovely card. It's th combination of lovely colours and well balanced composition. Very striking. Top marks Ros!

  2. Patterned paper looking feathers--that's so neat. I like the little lip that you get with the die being slightly larger. It gives a bit of space from one feather to the next.

  3. Certainly is lovely IRL. The colours are lovely and it was very tactile as Ros had used different techniques on each of the feathers. Great card x Jan xxx
