Thanks Miss Di (Snippets Playground)

This is a very special post for a very special person.
Di has been running the Snippets Challenge blog for SEVEN years now.
She works so hard keeping us all in order, battling with technology, replying to every comment
and supplying VERY generous prizes.
She is such fun, telling us about her garden hedgehogs, new dog Dudley,
hubby Len, and her cuddly bear Parsnip.
It is a lovely friendly blog, and another lovely lady Darnell
decided to run this special tribute of thanks.
So, do hop over to see both the
and

Here's my cards....made from two of the prizes kindly sent by Di,
the Winter Owl, and a Sentiment set.....

The snippets used are Stampin Up! papers, with snippets of card for the Owl, sentiment and branch.
The punches are from SU and the branch is from SU Seasonal Layers Dies.

I fussy cut his scarf.......I do love paper piecing!

I managed to make 4, but it was more time consuming than I anticipated
sticking all those Tailored Tag shapes in place neatly,
then trimming off the excess paper..........hindsight I should have covered a large piece of card,
then cut the card to size, instead of the other way round doh!!!!
It's great for using those small snippets of too-good-to-throw-away-paper :)

Thanks Di

lots of love
Lesley

I still have a chocklit truffle with your name on it, and, er, a glass of hooch if you come find me round the back of the bike shed!
