Puppy Kiss

Hi there, hope your Christmas preparations are going well.

I’m having a short break from it to share this…

It’s a winter birthday card, using some SU paper background,
and a Penny Black wooden stamp Puppy Kiss.

As it’s for a birthday, I die cut some flowers, stamped and cut an extra paw,
to cover the mistletoe. I coloured the bobble hat to match the flowers.

Challenges….
Penny Black SaturdayChallenge, Winter Wonderland, or anything goes.

P.s. I did a software update on my tablet, and now Blogger is throwing up posts from years ago (average 6 to 9!),

Is it just me?!

Take care and see you soon

Lesley

  1. Lovely card Lesley. Great way to make the most of your stamps by altering a few bits.

No, you’re not the only one I know who had a load of old posts sent to their reading list. X

  2. Adorable and your additions work so well to bring the little fellow to life. Something about a wood mounted stamp that is satisfying to use, reckon this one must date to 2010'ish.

As for updates, no it's not just you, my Highlight Windows 11 machine did an update a while back and just the same and know many other who had the those issues. Same with comments from years back appearing for approval.

I work mainly on an imac and the Sequoia update is lethal, two weeks on , trip to the Genius Bar and still working at snails pace, seems a three year old desktop has built in obsolescence.

  3. You've made a great job of adapting that super stamp so that it works for a birthday - clever thinking. I did have some comments from many years back appearing from time to time, but fingers crossed, not lately thank goodness. Easy to delete them but a pain nonetheless 🙄

  4. That is the sweetest little dog image and I love the birthday card you created with it. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with years-old comments showing up on my blog. These newer versions of windows have me totally confused most of the time.
