Stamping Sensations August challenge

Some of you may remember a little ATC I made some time ago,

which you can see HERE,

and I decided afterwards that it would make a cute card…

I used some old designer paper in black and gold, with a honeycomb design for the bees,
an embossed frame, cut out the aperture, and placed image behind,
cutting around the bunny ears to fit, and added a daisy and gold gems.

There’s a fabulous prize over at Stamping Sensations August challenge
with a theme birds, bees and butterflies, and some awesome inspiration too,
so do visit their Blog.

Also, hop over to Darnell’s blog, where this week it’s “embossing” HERE

Thanks for taking the time to visit, and I really appreciate your comments

Take care and see you soon

  1. Nice to see this little chap out again Lesley, seems one or two of us are re-visiting our old wood mounted PB's recently, great thing about them is they never age.

The colours and DP's used reflect Bee theme so well and really appreciate you joining us at Stamping Sensations with a card perfect for the theme.

  2. Everything about this lovely card is perfect for the theme of the stamping challenge - all beautifully matched. I'm enjoying seeing some of the older PB images being brought to the fore

  3. Thank you for your kind comment on my blog, Lesley! I appreciate the appreciation and your linking to this week's I.D.E.A.S. Calendar! It inspires me - and hopefully others - to keep on creating!

I think your sweet ATC made an adorable card! I love that you gently cut around bunny's ears so he could snug right into your pretty frame. And that DSP is gorge!! Hugs, Darnell

  4. I sometimes make ATCs that I then add to A6 sized cards. It's great that one creative thing can be used to make something else creative. LOVE how you framed your gorgeous ATC - the papers and embossed card are fab.
    AWESOME work! xxx
