Merriest wishes tag

Today I’m sharing a tag for the Tag-along and ATC’s challenge,

where the theme is add a number…

I’m trying to get ahead with tags and cards for December, so I found an old set from SU Merriest Wishes.
It’s quite a large tag, so used a large piece of ribbon, with enough length to tie onto a bag or parcel.
I used evergreen and cherry cobbler ink.

Here’s the link to

Tag-along and ATC’s

Bookmark Valentine

 Happy share the love day!

I’m not a lover of the commercial side of Valentine’s Day,

plus it can be very hard for people who have lost their partner,

but I do like that it’s become more of a day to share our love and appreciation of friends and family.

Today I’m sharing a simple bookmark made with some very old Stampin’ Up! Sets.

You may be wondering why isn’t it pink and red?

I like things to be practical, and my beloved will more likely use it

if it’s his favourite football team colours, Chelsea.!

So have a good day wherever you are and whatever you do,

lots of love to you all!

I’m now going to enter this into the

Tag-along and ATC’s, challenge (anything goes, bookmark)

On Display with cats and books

I had to have this set from SU….On Display

Stamps and dies to fill the shelves, I love mini anything,…..

….and each card can be easily customised to suit .
This was for a friend who loves cats, books, sci fi /fantasy,
so has a starry night background using SU paper,
and black cats, that do not show up at all well in the photos!
See if you can find all three…..๐Ÿค”๐Ÿง๐Ÿคจ

Another cat / animal / book / plant loving friend…

I used SU wood effect paper for the cabinet,
and even managed to stamp some teeny images for the photo frame.
Bottom left is one of the “waste” pieces for a cupboard with a handle.

The sentiment is Alex Syberia

I hope you enjoy today’s Display!

Periwinkle and Florastella

I do have some favourite challenges, and am always delighted when drawn as a pick,

or drawn for the wonderful prize on offer, so I’m sharing cards made with two gifts from the

Snippets Playground, a stamp and stencil (Aall & Create).

I have to credit Sarn from Stamping for Pleasure for the inspiration….

I love this easy to use stencil Florastella, which went well with the Periwinkle stamp, which I stamped in black, inked with Highland Heather and decoupaged.

I’m taking this to We Love Stamping, anything goes, (there is a heart in the flower centre, but not sure that will count!)
Stamping Sensations, anything goes, although this stamp is already a favourite as well!

Stamp and Stencil

On this next card I used Gorgeous Grape ink and card stock.

I love how the flower has a heart shaped centre….

I’m entering the Snippets Playground #525, having used lots of white snippets for the decoupage.

Allsorts challenge #842, making my own background.

MyNBUS, this is a new to me stamp and stencil.

A huge thank you for those generous people who work hard to bring us challenges to inspire us.

Tree Goddess Luna

 For my Sister…

The beautiful fairy stamp was a gift from a dear friend.

Lavinia stamps: Tree goddess Luna, Falling ivy, small whimsical whisps, whimsical hares.

Sakura glitter pens, circle masks, black marker pen.

I’m taking this to Allsorts challenge #842, create your own background,

which I’ve done with inking and stamping.

Enjoy your day.

Tag along with crafty roo

I have been lucky recently and won some lovely prizes, for which I’m extremely grateful.

I’ve been longing to enter the Tag-along and ATC challenge with a lovely large die set,

the one I’ve made here is only the third largest!

I received this Crafty Roo set so set about doing a decoupage collage.
My desk is still covered with Christmas stuff!
For some reason I opted for vanilla card, then inked with Poppy Parade and Shy Shamrock.
The weather is so dull it’s hard to get a decent picture, hopefully you can see some sparkle on the close up.

I’m not sure about my white highlights, I smudged the gold glitter glue,
and the sentiment went a bit wonky, but hey, shows it’s hand made eh?!
I used 3 strands of glittery ribbon and a couple of wired berries.
(I save all the bits from crackers…..does that mean I’m crackers?!)

I’m entering this into the challenge  Tag-along and ATC  using the anything goes option.

You are remarkable square

Here’s another card using the same set as yesterday….SU You are Remarkable.

I used some designer paper for the background, white card frame cut using the arch dies,

and a rectangle piece of gold foiled ephemera that I managed to fit behind,

that was in my stash left over from a kit I think.

I stamped the flower on a white snippet and fussy cut,
the sentiment (Alex Syberia?) was also stamped on a white snippet, and die cut.
I added some sequins, but maybe shouldn’t have, then stamped the envelope….I’m trying to do that more.

As I used some snippets, I’m taking this to the Snippets Playground #524

You are remarkable arch

Here’s a set I acquired recently from SU, “You are remarkable”.

One of the reasons I got it was the two teeny tiny ๐Ÿ bees ๐Ÿ˜,

I also like the flower and sentiment…..

Daffodil card base, Corrugated embossed layer…
I used to have a crimping machine, (do you still have one?……..), but much prefer this new folder….
I wrapped some yellow ribbon around it.
Then using the arch dies, a piece of designer paper, and a white layer,
upon which I stamped and coloured with blends.

It’s the first time with the stamp set and the corrugated folder, so heading over to

Monochrome Male

I needed some quick and simple birthday cards ๐Ÿ™„, like there’s any such thing ๐Ÿ˜‚

I’d seen an idea using Uniko Background Builders Round in Circles,

and just went for it…..

All our cards are made with love, that’s the main thing!

EDITED TO ADD:
All sorts Challenge #841 is for “boys or men”, so I’m taking this over thanks to Linby!

Robins Flying your way

Flying Your Way is another new to me Penny Black stamp,

so I made two cards…..

I stamped and heat embossed then watercoloured on watercolour paper.
I had some spare time over the holidays to get ahead for next Christmas.
I subtly stamped the background, and added a sparkly die cut frame.

I’m taking this to Stamping Sensations (B for bird),

Then I made a similar but square card, this time framed with blue glimmer paper.

I added a tag sentiment, and stamped the envelope.

Entering this in We Love Stamping (new stamp)

and MyNBUS #82 as I’ve not used it before

Square flower garden

I have used this Uniko stamp a lot…Originally Organic Flower Garden

Blending brushes for the background, blend pens for flowers and leaves.
Sentiment is SU Happiness Abounds, border is SU Tin of Cards.
I joined the individual stamping using a mask (scrap of paper!),
then tidied the corners with a marker pen.

Robins resting

Hello crafters, here’s a twosome made with a new to me stamp from Penny Black, Robins Resting.

I’ve long been a fan of PB, but only recently treated myself to some new stamps.

I still treasure my wood mounted ones, but storage can be an issue,

plus we all know it’s nice to have new playthings!

I’m taking this to We Love Stamping (something new),
and Little red wagon   #840 (new)

I love this image, . Stamped and heat embossed on watercolour paper,
I was guided by the packaging to attempt watercolouring with different inks,
some SU, and some new to me distress inks.
The sentiment is from another PB set, Flying Away.
I die cut a white double frame for this one….

This next one has a more vivid sky, and more brown than orange pots.

This time I die cut some precious dazzling glimmer paper for the frame,
and added glitter to the snow.
I know I need more practice, but I enjoyed painting these, it’s very therapeutic.

I’m taking this one to Stamping Sensations, (B for birds)
and
Allsorts challenge #840 (winter animals)
