This is another old wooden stamp gifted by a friend, it’s so cute.
The first card has a simple inked background,
with some gentle colouring.
I put a glow around the flame, and used a glittery pen to make the candle holder shine….
Next card was on crumb cake (you’ve probably noticed I’ve done this a lot to see the difference)
Same gentle colouring and added sparkle.
I think I prefer them on white best, do you?

It's a lovely stamp Lesley, so sweet. I like the simple clean design, with all the focus on the image, both versions look beautiful. but maybe the warm yellow glow around the first one gives it the edge.

I think both cards are absolutely lovely. The mice reading their Christmas story by candlelight is such a sweet scene. The glittered candles are so pretty! Thank you for joining us at Inkspirational!
