Happy Post March

Here's the happy post I sent this month....

The cloudy paper is  from Stampin' Up!.
I die-cut a circle in it to frame my layer underneath.
'For The Birds' (SU also) provided the cute stamped image,
that I also stamped on paper scraps, cut out and laid over the top....
a form of 'paper piecing'....
Tied some ribbon around the paper, and added some gems.
"Thanks, friend"

p.s. I've entered into the Snippets Playground with this one!

  2. Oh how cute Lesley! I have that stamp set and KNOW how little those birdies are so well done on snipping the little pieces for paper piecing!

I'm sure this is your first trip into the Playground so a huge welcome - come back soon!

  3. Wahoo Lesley . . . you made it to the Snippets Playground this week (I'm playing hookey Shhhh!). Love this cute card and the aperture is inspired. TFS. Watch out for Mrs A's antics in the Playground . . . she's trouble that one!

    Happy Saturday!

  6. Love this card. Those paper pieced birds must have been really fiddly to cut out.
