Every cloud

Here's a little sympathy card for a friend who's furbaby died recently.
There's nothing one can say or do when you lose a beloved pet,
but it's nice to acknowledge the grief, that can be overwhelming.

I used the debossed side of the cloud embossing folder,
inked the edges of the cloud punched using the cup cake builder,
and glittered the raindrops, that are from the same punch,
the candle flame.

I hope in time she'll be able to laugh at my upside down raindrops!
Only I could put them upside down doh.
My excuse is I'm in a lot of pain at the moment,
and it certainly does not help my concentration.

I hope this helps you look at punches in different ways.

If you have lost a pet, I do empathise,
and hope you'll find comfort in your memories.

  4. Well you fooled me, if you hadn't mentioned that they were upside down I wouldn't have twigged, great idea for a sympathy card, simple but very effective.

  5. Really lovely of you to be so thoughtful to make her this card, I am sure she will love it no matter which way up the rain is!

  6. This is a very sweet card for such a sad occasion. The upside raindrops made me smile (and I didn't notice them until you pointed them out).
