August Rudolph Day
Hello I'm back again!
Life is rush rush rush, need to slow down.....soon!
One thing I refuse to miss is Rudolph Day,
where we make a xmas card each month,
so that we don't have to rush nearer xmas
(yeah right!)
here's my very rushed entry
I fancied a go at triple stamping,
bit with a shape as opposed to a square or rectangle.
Didn't work out awfully well, should have used plain dark card
instead of busy paper,
but I'll have another go sometime...
Couldn't figure where to put a sentiment, so
did a greetings border all round the star.
Rushing off to enter.....
WHOOSH!!!!

envelope surprise
Love this one by Linda Kasparian
It's a square envelope card, with a cute belly band
beautifully adorned.
Slip the band off and.....greeting inside
If you fold the flaps back, you can put it on display
and slip the band on the top flap.

play days happy days
I'm going to share swaps and make n takes from recent play days.
The narrative may be short n sweet,
but times short, and it's the inspiration you want mostly,
so here goes.....
The tree was made with the punch, altho it should have been a pompom!
More on that another day, or maybe Playtime Postings will reveal all.....

Congrats
Sent this to one of my team for promoting,
lots of bling and blue.
I embossed the wooden word with Iridescent Ice.
She has worked so very hard, and deserves this in spades!
(or at least sequins!)

Heartfelt Sympathy
It's always sad to have to make these....
The one in the background I made much more faded,
with second generation ink,
I feel the sentiment is the main part.

Sending Happy Thoughts
Here's my make n take at a recent play day,
unashamedly cased from ilinacrouse.blogspot.com
I had the Calypso Coral Celebration add on kit,
and was at a complete loss what to do with the half circles.
I used the waste part from a sticker to frame the sentiment!
Just to show it doesn't matter how much room you have....still stuff everywhere!
Here's the matching set using Watermelon Wonder and Basic Grey
Sending happy thoughts your way for the weekend

Baker's Box
I had a lovely play day recently and made these swaps
using the Baker's Box Thinlits
I'm sharing a few construction pics, so hope you don't get bored!
Tissue paper, a strip of double sided tape, cut into strips up to tape
with glue facing up, roll so the glue is adhering as it goes
take a strip of DSP, add sticky tape, and roll to cover,
then dipped in ink and scrunched
Stamped the box before assembly
added a square of card to strengthen the base
added tags peg and streamer
YOU are so amazing for visiting thank you!

Happy Post
Made this from one of the awesome kits from Stampin' Up!
Sorry the pic's crooked (again!)
Although simple, I love all the elements.
Pretty foiled card blank, thin wooden square,
foil layer topped with printed layer.
I just added the wooden word, and silver ribbon.
You might notice the foiled envelope that comes with!

Garden Guy
For an Uncle who has a lovely garden,
started as part of a berry basket, with some of those garden labels
and a photocopy of a pack of seeds,
(I know, should have at least bought him a real pack,
but just didn't have time!)
This was the state of my desk.....
lots of discarded ideas, bet you know that feeling?!
I used From the Garden, Gift from the Garden, Guy Greetings.
