Watercolour Wings

A simple card using the fab new
Watercolour Wings stamp set from Stampin' Up!

I stamped a butterfly first,
then die cut another from vellum.
It surprised me how different the colours were on vellum.

As it was for a very pretty sparkly girl,
I just had to add some "dazzling diamonds" glitter.

This requires using "heat & stick powder" first,
but it's well worth the effort don't you think?

I can't wait to try heat n stick with some gilding flakes.....

  2. Gorgeous! (and I have this set!) Did you w/color the vellum too? I don't work much with vellum, as it rather intimidates me. It shows off this fab SU butterfly beautifully with the techniques you've used. Hope you share the gilding flakes effort too. TFS &L Hugs
