Fussy cut the gingerbread house from the DSP
stamped my little man in soft suede, added a bit of a wink.....of stella

I had to ask what the gumdrops were....and which way up.....
didn't realise they had sugar on top.....that's the middle band of paper...

Oldies but goodies

Sharing some old makes by friends,

that I think are timeless.

I was sorting through my bold box of saved card samples,
and thought these were too good to throw away.

(Yep, sometimes I admit I grit my teeth and throw away things that no longer have any use,
or are damaged,  to make more room for other 'stuff'.
Do tell me I am not alone!)

this is just strips of card with random circles stuck on top

a pretty tag topper with pretty papers

great designs for males, or anyone really,

and you could use up lots of your snippets

Touches of Texture

Stampin' Up! do some lovely artistic texture stamps,
and this is no exception, full of wonderful elements, for all occasions.

a tag with the arty flower stamp

lots of interesting splatters, 

and even 'coloured in' the flowers with a dinky splatter stamp

more splatters and the bee's body is also 'coloured in' with a stamp.

Trio of cats

I thought you would like to see a project shared by a lovely lady

at a craft club I go to in High Halden,

it was such fun, everyone enjoyed making them,

every one slightly different, backed with pretty papers,

and embellished in various ways.

Mine is a very simple version....

start with 3 circles, small medium and large,

and cut them in half

(two cards for the price of one!),

add circle heads, draw or make the face,

punched hearts for ears,

googly eyes,

(I added some twine whiskers)

layer them on top of one another......the smaller cat' here looks more like a 'frog'

but if I ever need a frog......

definitely prefer the one on the right.....

and will use this idea again I think!

Bear Hugs

I wish you could see and touch these!

They make me feel all warm and cozy,

who doesn't like a bear hug,

or a bear TO hug?!

The embossing folder is awesome,

I had no idea how awesome until I used it,

and didn't even know it was 3-D,

if you buy it, do be aware you only use one clear plate with the Bigshot,

and not two, because of the depth of the folder

I added some of the pretty glittery ribbon to all of them

and although the stamp set is called Baby Bear,

it suits all sorts of occasions, even christmas!
