Cable knit

Here's a card made a while ago for an avid knitter/crocheter,

using "Better Than Email" from Stampin' Up!

Also the Cable Knit embossing folder, which gives a fab 3-d look

I had some snippets of embossed card to use up,

and some more Snippets to stamp on and layer up

using the stitched Framelits

So I'll pop over to the Snippets Playground 

to wish them all a Hoppy Easter.......do join us....

I used a Marker pen to create the two colour tones on the stamp,

and joined up the sentiment to the yarn,

and of course added some bakers twine.

Whether you knit, crochet, or enjoy any craft

Birthday seeds

Another Birthday before christmas, my desk covered in xmas sets,

so I combined the Cable Knit embossing folder with a xmas DSP and sentiment,

cut and pasted "birthday" over the top,

and copied a seed catalogue off the internet.

He has an allotment.....

Welsh cake

It's one of my Great Nephew's Birthday, they live in North Wales,

but luckily speak both languages, because I confess I struggle with welsh.

The colour in the photo is rubbish...its actually a lovely tartan,

with a gold stitched frame and a gold 'winked' cake,

(wink of stella)

and that cable knit embossing folder.

It was simple, due to shortage of time, but I decorated inside and envelope.

They all play golf, so it was meant to look a bit golf jumper like.....

3 More Sleeps!

The Countdown begins....

and I'm kicking off with warmth and cheer,

the stamp set bcame a favourite....odd as it's only sentiments

the Cable Knit embossing folder is a MUST-HAVE

and I picked up some pops of colour with the enamel shapes

see if you can find them....

and here is a teeny tiny TIP!

I used the ballon punch for the Bauble!

everyone loves a bit of tartan don't they?

Bear Hugs

I wish you could see and touch these!

They make me feel all warm and cozy,

who doesn't like a bear hug,

or a bear TO hug?!

The embossing folder is awesome,

I had no idea how awesome until I used it,

and didn't even know it was 3-D,

if you buy it, do be aware you only use one clear plate with the Bigshot,

and not two, because of the depth of the folder

I added some of the pretty glittery ribbon to all of them

and although the stamp set is called Baby Bear,

it suits all sorts of occasions, even christmas!

Christmas Class......

.......in September?!

Yep! it has to be done, and it was requested,

and I always aim to please those who come to class!

I do a lot of the cutting and prepping, so they can just relax,

I also provide all the tools, so they can just turn up!

(cutting a straight line can be very stressful,

especially with unfamiliar tools!)

I embossed a sheet with this awesome 3-d (YES 3-D!!!!) Cable Knit embossing folder

(it has to be seen to be believed!)

and used this oh-so-lush new ribbon, with a gorgeous stitched edge

I also gave them some sheets of the Candy Cane Lane DSP

They were simple designs, so they could get a few done in the time,

and each had some christmas sparkle

I also designed co-ordinating tags

so that they'll be good to go with some makes ready 

before it all gets a bit too hectic
