Happy Sunday to you!
Been a muggy day, and we fear there's more to come,
but we managed to do some work in the garden, followed by accounts yuk!
So, to cheer me up I'm sharing a shimmer paint project.
I was planning for a class, using Stampin' Up! Shimmer paints,
but also needed to welcome a new member to my team.
First I masked a square, then blended some ink and gold shimmer paint
onto some whisper white card.
I sprinkled some water droplets to faux bleach the background.
Dabbed off excess with paper towel.
I then wanted to add some splats.....however, to get a bit of control over them,
I used stamps instead.......I found my splats using a brush went everywhere I didn't want!
I also added a squiggly border around the inked square with a fine liner pen.
Something I rarely have courage to do, but a squiggly one is easier than a straight one :)
I hope you can see some of the shimmer. My photos don't show it that well.
I hope you've had a good weekend,
have a good week too
Lesley
