Speedy cards with Shelli Kit

Hi there

Whooshing by to share some quick cards I made with the remains of the

Hugs from Shelli Kit

Simply took a card blank and added a sentiment with some cut flowers

Stamped a background and added some fibres, flowers and pearls

Hello there

Here's the final design from the Hugs from Shelli kit

Again the card base is printed, but the birds were stamped on top,

the lovely die cut vellum feather is just adorable,

the twine and velvet ribbon add depth.

Hello again

A very pretty blue card, pre printed, then stamped with flowers for the background.

The ribbon is lush velvety and luxurious.

Some twine behind the die cut flowers adds interest.

I added some "wink" to the flowers

We got very excited to have the chance to experience a special

 Paper Pumpkin Kit "Hugs from Shelli" from Stampin' Up!

I took mine on a short weekend break recently

(my long suffering Alan gets chance to read his newspaper in peace :)

I tried to add my own twist on some of them.

There's 4 designs to play with.

Pre-printed cards make it easy, as do the matching envelopes.

The stamp set is very cute and versatile, and coordinates with the new Birds Ballad Suite.

I added some ink splodges to the background,

then gently coloured the eggs, nest and leaves with wink of stella and some ink

I also stamped a feather and coloured it in to match,

adding the die cut flowers.

Below is the one I made at Onstage , with some of the twine behind the sentiment
