Ros's Roses

Hello there, thanks for visiting.

Here today we have a make n take and swap by dear friend and teamie Ros

This lovely rose, die cut from pale pink card,
adding a pearl centre, mounted on a scallop edged rectangle,
with some pretty DSPaper

Here's another rubbish photograph,
which also doesn't show the leaves are green, they look black.
In fact I messed up, so had to cut the leaves to fit.
I also messed up the sentiment, so had to cover it up with another,
but the whisper white card I used, is much whiter than Ros's card.
Funny how my rubbish photography has no problem showing that up though teehee!

Here's her swap....luckily I had no involvement,
so 'tis a very nice card and not messed up at all!

Hmmmm that reminds me, seeing her paper pierced tag....
I was meant to pierce the rose rectangle....
but because the others messed that up, I didn't even bother trying!

Just for a laugh I have set the challenge for next teamie day,
.......to use paper piercing on a card!
(Not sure they saw the funny side....!)

Have a great non-messed-up day!

Double Rose

Morning!

Had some gold foil petals I couldn't possibly throw away

So I added them to blackberry bliss and our thick whisper white cardstock,
gold embossing the sentiment.
Simple but luxurious.

Edited to add that Sarn reminded me of a pancake race taking place at
so I may pop in to see what's cooking !

Watercolour Rose Wonder

Happy Sunday!

Here's one I made for my Sister.

Die-cut the rose twice from gold foil sheets,
adhered to Shimmery white card,
and water coloured using aqua painter brush
and shades of yellow and green ink.

I added touches of gold wink of stella,
then painted clear wink of stella all over

I used the stamp to add a rose image to the inside and envelope

Rose Wonder

Morning!

Here's a recent class project using the
Rose Wonder Bundle
(you can get the separate stamp set and dies,
but it is way better value to purchase the bundle).

The first is die cut from basic black card,
with the frame inlaid back in, then adhered to a pretty backing paper.
I love the little sentiment frame that has a matching die
so no cutting out required!

Then, with a little lot of patience, we pieced the 'waste' petals
and glued them in place, using the frame from above to position them.
So yes, I've probably put these the wrong way round but hopefully you get the gist!

I think there might be video tutorials on the 'inlaid technique' .

Have a good week

Thank you Rose

Happy Sunday !

I have been playing with my Rose Wonder Bundle

I copied this from Jennifer Blomquist,
I love the simple layout and colour palette.

I stamped leaves on Crumb Cake with the same ink,
and used the black waste petals from another project.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend
and
thanks for looking
