Umbrella weather

 Hello 

Today is windy, so my umbrella blew away.....😊

A watercolour wash, stamped hearts with same ink,

stamped umbrella on card, then on paper and fussy cut.

mounted it on more of the same paper, added some resin white hearts.

Fortunately I don't have to make many of these....
made for a neighbour who had a nasty fall,
and ended up with a new hip!

She is well on the mend now, being a very determined lady.

I made it 3-d by popping some 'dimensionals' between the two layers,

added an enamel heart (they are adorable)

The Weather Together stamp set

and Umbrella Weather Framelits are so versatile,

with lots of cute elements and sentiments.

The weather is a-changing in the UK,

so we may need umbrellas at the ready!

I may be able to link this with the challenge from HLS

Hello

I'm sharing the swaps I made for a training day.

I love this stamp set Layering Love.

It's great for cards, scrapbooking, picture frames etc etc.

I decided to make small card fronts, the top layer is only 3" square.

I stamped in Sweet Sugarplum, then die cut the cloud and hearts from 

Umbrella Weather framelits.

On the base layer I then stamped a cloud, and added some diecut hearts

in the new In-Colours, and one in glimmer paper.

As a final touch I added a co-ordinating new enamel shape.

The top layer is mounted on dimensionals (foam pads).

As you can see, I used lots of snippets for these,

and so I can visit the Snippets Playground!
