Capital Cats

We had a team challenge to make an Initial the focal point of a card.....

.....needed to make a birthday card too, so combined them......

...she loves cats, so I had great fun making this.
I 3-d'd the head, and added peel-off greeting
and fishys up the side.

Full shaker card

Shaker elements can be big or small....

this one is almost fills the card....
with shiny sequins....

....it's one of the xmas papers, but I love the bows,
perfect for a birthday.
I used the stitched circle framelit too with Emerald Envy card.

Are you organised yet?

Dad card

Thoughtful Branches was out on the desk.....
I've heard men like simple, so that's how I kept it!

The leaves were stamped first/second/third generation,
on top of the trunk, grass added,
then stamped and die cut cute bird.

3-D STARS

These make fab ornaments, and it's easy to make any size you desire,
because you just start with a square.....

Fold in half, open fold in half the other way

Fold in half diagonlly, open and fold other diagonal

Fold half pointed side in towards diagonal crease line,
up to the vertical crease line

(skip this bit if it doesn't make sense)

cut up vertical line to where creases meet,
or about half way up

reinforce folds to form points

overlap and glue these to form a point

it should then form a peak

make two and glue back to back

cord can be attached before you glue if required.

Make one from 12 x 12" for the wow factor.

I hope you are enjoying the weekend
