Another Beautiful Blizzard (or three)

Hello again, thanks for visiting, and hope all is well with you and yours.

I'm back with another card with Beautiful Blizzard,
and I've not even made a christmas card with it yet!
This set is definitely not just for Christmas.

Beautiful Blizzard

I used soft colours, Pool Party and Highland Heather with Mango blobs, some Shimmery Paint, then fussy cut some flowers from the
Love What You Do DSP, which has a similar "shimmer" on it

I was going to use a sheet of the paper on the front, decided it was far far far too busy,
so stuck it on the inside instead......a pretty insert!

I also made another similar to the first, hopefully you can see the shimmer paint,
and see if you can spot the differences :)

This was the first one....

See you again soon!

Santa's Sacks

I couldn't wait to show you these......
something I don't think I've tried before,
plus using some of my pre-order from the new Seasonal Catalogue,
due out on 5th September, and full of lush new stuff!
(Just message me if you'd like your own paper copy)

These fun canvas gift bags are so versatile and useful for small gifts/cards/money/sweets etc
I used Mistletoe Season with Archival black ink to stamp this image.
I actually used my Stamparatus so that I could go over the image.
I wasn't sure it would work with anything but card, but as you can see it worked perfectly.
I used a magnet to hold in place, but also because I was able to butt it up into the corner
I was able to stamp the image a few times over.
Canvas doesn't take the ink as well as card, so don't expect the same crisp image.

I wanted to use the new sparkly gorgeous Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon,
and some embellishments from last year, plus some Rhinestones

Above shows them on my display in the CraftRoom.
I am holding some all day Classes next month, so let me know if you'd like to join us.
Signs of Santa is a brand new Bundle, and oh my goodness it is cuteness overload.
There are loads of fun images from the "North Pole", plus coordinating products such as
Flocked Speciality Designer Series Paper and Dies that even cut the images on the paper!

I used Washi Tape to mask off some stripes, and then with Poppy Parade red ink and a Sponge Brayer,
inked the stripes ((  I went over the edge of the last one :(  )), and stamped the "Seal".

I have already had lots of fun with these, but I fancy there could be lots more fun to be had yet!

I hope you are having a good weekend,
thanks for stopping by, and see you again soon

Love What You Do

I am so lucky that I love what I do,
so this set is right up my street.
A pretty adaptable set, and an even prettier set of Papers.

I needed some quick cards so chose one of the papers,
(I think you can see some of the shimmer in the pics),
sandwiched a doily (cut into two) between two oval layers.

The topper was stamped in black and embossed with clear powder,
then coloured slightly differently, adding some small enamel shapes.
Not sure the differences show up in the pics as well as in reality,
but was pleased with the results and love the colours.
Cards don't have to be complicated or take hours to make to be pretty, don't you agree?

I just remembered to pop over to the Snippets Playground, as I used snippets of card for the ovals.
(Cutting a doily in half probably doesn't count as a snippet lol)
Do take a look at this fab blog!

Hope you've enjoyed your weekend,
thanks for visiting, I always appreciate you stopping by.

Beautiful Blizzard

Well we've gone from heatwave to rain all day,
that's more the norm here,
but now I'm talking Blizzards!
But don't worry.....only in the world of Stampin' Up!

The new seasonal Autumn/Winter catalogue is due out next month...
Yes I know, far too soon!......I haven't gone through the annual one properly yet!

But, I have to say this is one catalogue where I want it all!

I just had to show you this one, as it works for any time of year....

It's quite abstract....splats and splodges....and in my favourite red rubber too!
You can do so much more with red rubber.
Another new product is some Shimmer Paint, which can be used on lots of surfaces,
and adds a subtle sheen.

I used some Twinkle Twinkle DSP for the main background,
then splodged on the focal point, adding some sequins and shimmer paint.

Thanks for stopping by, I really do appreciate your visits and comments.

Notes of Kindness

Hello again, thanks for stopping by, and I am hoping you are well.
I'm sharing some kit cards today.....from one of my favourite kits.....

Notes of Kindness

I just love the soft colours, the delicate images, and all the elements,
and I did add some extra sequins etc on some of them

I held my first All Day Class recently where everyone chose a Kit to work on for the day,
and it was a huge success, and such good fun

I decorated each set, and made them a stamp case with printed insert
according to the kit they chose, and had a few "extras" available.

You may have seen my holiday pics, and I took this set on board!
It was so easy, as everything you needed was in the kit, I just took scissors and glue.

Wizard Weekend

Hello there
thanks for visiting.....hope alls well with you and yours...

Here's a magical card for a friend, was a BIG birthday,
so wanted it to be a bit special.....started with the Wizard, gently coloured,
added the sentiment.....a piece of the Designer Series Paper mounted as the background.
then wanted to add some "magic"....
Didn't have time to get out powders etc, so took the small star stamps in the set,
and created the "magic" with different coloured inks,
then added some stars from Twinkling stars to add dimension.

Stamped inside with Around The Corner, and mounted the paper and topper on
Granny Apple Green Card Stock.
I also added a bit of Wink of Stella to the wizard, but fear I need a replacement,
as it seemed a bit dry.

Hope you are managing to keep cool in this hot weather.
Stay Safe
