More Snowflakes

Happy Monday!
This morning we were crocheting snowflakes

Then, as promised, here's some more ideas from the One Sheet Wonder:

3 Panels split and mounted

Four squares with a punched border

A square with a die cut snowflake as the greeting

 Glimmer paper adds some sparkle
This is one of my favourites,
but come back tomorrow to see a couple more before you choose your favourite!

I hope this has given you some ideas.
Just use the layouts as your starting point,
then use stamps, papers, and embellishments that you have.

I had a lovely lunch to catch up with a friend,
so it was a salad for me for dinner,
and bubble 'n' squeak for him indoors!

One Sheet Wonder

Happy Sunday!
The sun is now shining, now that the day is nearly over!
The garden is looking decidedly soggy.
Oh well, the fire is lit, roast dinner in the oven, and some snowflakes to crochet this evening.

I hope you've  had a nice weekend.
I went to London yesterday to meet a friend for lunch,
and every time I go,  I am amazed at the changes, the architecture, and  the people!

Anyway, I thought I'd share a recent class project,
where we did a One Sheet Wonder.

It's basically  stamping an A4 sheet of cardstock, then chopping it into bits to make lots of cards!
We used the Snowflake Soiree stamp set, in blues, with a touch of green:
We all found it difficult to do 'random' stamping, but it's good fun!

This is one way of 'dissecting' the sheet!

Then it's a case of designing the cards.......
here's a selection of the ones I made:

Using a punch to make baubles, and pricking for the 'strings'
(the tops are owl's feet!)

Stamping and die-cut Festive Flurries

 adding a punched border

using decorative paper and ribbon strip

 one for the boys possibly?

I'll show you some more tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by!

Here's one I made for a boy who is growing up fast!
I used Chalk Talk Tags, Gorgeous Grunge splats,
and a Chevron punched border.

Big Box

Well, I think this might be my biggest box yet from Stampin' Up!

I was lucky to be invited to do a workshop at a craft group.
There were about 20 ladies, and it was a fun and friendly day.
They liked the projects so much, they made lots of extras,
and were very complimentary about the quality of our stamps.

When I bagged up their goodies, I decided to make everyone a gift tag to say thank you.
They made me so welcome, and I hope to see them again soon.

I used the Flower Shop Bundle, and coloured the petals with marker pens.
I hope they liked them.

Happy Birthday Cupcake

I have a lot of blogging to catch up with,
so here's the first of what I hope will be many ideas to share with you.
Pink and chocolate, fave girly colours.
I white embossed the 'doily', then sponged some ink over the top.
Added some pearls to the cake, and some bakers twine around the 'case'.
A punched scallop helps it stand out from the background.

Here's a close-up

Hope to see you again soon!
