Block Card....

Here's a version of a Block Card....
I got the idea from Stampin' Pretty.com
It is a fun different 3-d  type card
that still posts flat (always a bonus these days!)
and can be adapted to any occasion!
Thanks to Di from the Snippets Playground,
I have learnt how to re-size my pics ;) !
I made mine into a man's/boy's card,
but my friend Jan made a girlie one HERE

Take a piece of card 12 x 4 1/2"
and score every 1 1/2 "
Cut the solid lines,
and you should end up with this:
Cut a hinge 4 1/2 " x 1" and score in half
Join the two ends by sticking the hinge inside....
Glue the flaps to make steps...

Turn it to suit and decorate!

  1. Afternoon Lesley . . . WOW - this is a serious piece of paper engineering. FAB. Love how it looks, and even better that it folds flat for posting! Top marks!

  2. This is really clever Lesley, I'm going to make some baby cards using this pattern, as soon as UPS deliver my new toys. X
