Party Wishes

Let's Party!

This is one of the makes we did in Brussels
using some of the NEW products
which I am lucky enough to have in my hands already (squeal)
because it's one of the many perks of being
a demonstrator with Stampin' Up!

Can you see the balloons and cupcakes are punched out?!
and so is the candle on the word birthday?!
Can you tell I'm squeeely squeeely excited?!

I had to add the second balloon on account of an ink smudge,
I suspect we've all done that before?!
(makes a change from a butterfly lol)

here's another swap I was lucky to receive...

Can't wait to show some more.....

Oh Deer a rusty hinge....

I am going to share some of the stunning swaps I received in Brussels
during our Stampin' Up! convention.....

but first.....here's a small gift I got him-indoors-who-I-left-behind......

some sweet nougat-looking stuff and a rusty hinge.....eh what?!

It's actually chocolate!
Brussels is just full of chocolate, but I couldn't resist this....
they had wrenches, cogs, nuts n bolts, scissors and lots more,
so realistic don't you think?!

Have a great week

OnStage loot

Hello everyone
I have been itching to share some of the stuff from Brussels,
but I'm finding myself severely time challenged at present,
there's so much going on!

However, I'm determined to post on here because I miss you!

Here's my stash from Brussels....

canvas tote bag........good job, as an extra bag was very handy!
gold water bottle, pens, diary/notebook, badges......

ooops just noticed I've not included the stamps I got!
Not teasing, honest!
I'll be back, but meantime here's my dining table.....no room to eat!

Have a good day
see you soon

Brussels swap

Some of you may know the Stampin' Up! Covention
was held this weekend......

We all make swaps, to share ideas and make new friends.....

here's mine.....want to see inside?......later.....

This is one more fab reason to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator......

I would like to thank all my team, customers, family and friends,
who have all supported me through this wonderful journey....

It has been hard work, but great fun too.

This is a token of the company's appreciation,
it's even better in real life...

Thank you all

Shaker Card - don't put all your apples in one basket....

Jan showed us a while back how to make a shadow box card HERE

I thought maybe I could adapt it to make a 'simple' shaker card,
by 'just' adding acetate.........!

well, as usual, it was well more complicated than that,
and I almost gave up (moi? nah!)

so I persevered, but not sure I'll ever make another!

Everyone enjoyed playing with it though.....
methinks I made it too easy to get all the apples in the basket.....

Happy Weekend

Santa stocking

Made a large stepper card at
High Halden Craft Club

found a cute mouse image, added some paper,
couple of peel-offs (haven't used them in yonks!),
and a cardstock 'ribbon' for the greeting

thats another for the box!

Happy Friday!
(don't worry about the date!)

Cherry or Chesnut.....

These little cards were fun to make out of various snippets.

I embossed a large piece with Woodland EF,
then cut it into 4..

I used some of the very delicate gold thread around the stalks

Remembrance Day....

.........and some very important birthdays.

Here's one of my cards for one of them

Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay and Whisper White.
Gold embossed with Vintage Leaves,

Here's the process.....

Stamped and die cut some scraps using gold EP to make leaves

scrunched 'em and curled 'em
added background splats n stuff from Gorgeous Grunge.
 and arranged 'em around greeting.....

(not sure I did it very well....I tried dropping them from above to get random,
but that didn't look right either lol)

was lacking something, so added some stars,
then tried out my new corner punch....

then mounted them on coordinating card.

The easy coordination with Stampin up is what attracted me
in the first place, and it makes everything quick n easy.

well, maybe not everything lol....

Certainly not clean n simple,
bit too much, but hey I enjoyed the process,
and hopefully will make the recipients smile!

Lots of snippets means a trip to the Playground.....

Edited to add a link to the Sweet Stampin' Challenge...
(thanks to Maarit)

Maybe Hazel...

I love this almost heart shaped leaf...
maybe Poplar....

I stamped Lovely as a Tree onto white card after cutting out the leaves with framelits,
and snippets of Bermuda Bay for the Tiny Tags sentiment

the little yellow leaves are from our silver birch...
