Special Lady

Whooooooshing by to wish a
VERY SPECIAL LADY

A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Mum-in-Law Rosemary
a lovely lady who also likes to craft. so,
no pressure!

I think she likes pink, so started off with my fave Melon Mambo
and Flourishing Phrases and Flourish Thinlits

This is where my rubbish photography does it no justice at all,
the flourish is die cut from pink glimmer paper
and I wanted to show before the greeting.....

.....and after......I was reluctant to add it, but felt it necessary,
what do you think? be honest!

I got the inspiration from Bibi Cameron and her Easy Inlaid Die video

Wishing you a Wonderful Week

Lesley

  1. Wonderful technique and not something I've tried yet! I know that glimmer paper is really AWESOME and schparkly IRL.

The card works either with or without the sentiment. But as it's your MIL's birthday card, I think it's prolly best to add the sentiment to the front. It's EVER SO pretty!

  2. A really pretty card Lesley. I love the colour and the glitter looks great. I also think your MIL will like the sentiment too. Barbxx

  3. I'll bet this really shines. I know how that glimmer paper is. I can see your reluctance to add the sentiment on the outside sine it spoke volumes without it. It did not diminish your card by adding it though so all is good.
