MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I would strongly recommend you put your feet up and have a cuppa before you go any further!
This is a very heavily pictured post.....
First up is a wooden bauble we decorated at class,
which I'm entering into the challenge
which is for anything but a card
I do lots of things other than cards, but don't often blog about them,
but today IS special after all!
the bauble had a pre-cut star, we added die cuts, embossing paste, glitter and sequins
We also made a votive decoration using similar die cuts
This was the last class I held for the year.
This is the before pic.....
lots of goodies in their bags.....
projects on show with a string of battery star lights
"Inspiration Table"
I laid out lots of ideas for table decorations etc.
those are real twigs, below right, sprayed gold to hold a name card
napkins with simple ring made from card, decorated with initials,
and a pine sprig and silver bauble
(SU embellishments that I may have to get some more of for next year!)
love this idea.....but also love crackers....
some ideas are from Hobbycrafts blog
Gift- box- on- a- card
makes a fab place setting.....
decorated lantern in the centre
Diorama cards cased from Amanda Bates,
including her faux diorama.....simpler and flatter...
you could add a tea light behind the houses
Amanda also did a bridge version which is also fab,
love the Hearts Come Home bundle.
We had a fabulous time, lots of laughs, nibbles, idea sharing,
card swapping, and bookings for next year!
Do come and join us if you can,
you would be made most welcome.
I hope Santa visited your home,
keep warm, keep safe, and keep well.
