As soon as I saw this set, I fell in love......
memories of being abroad watching the world go by,
and sunny days in gardens with friends....
ooooooo how I'm longing for warm sunny days!
I also wanted to try something out with Mediterranean Moments stamp set,
I don't often get those "light bulb " moments, but this is one....
I hope you enjoy today wherever you are, whatever you do.....

The Stampin' Up! Blend pens would be fab for colouring in,
and I found this really useful advice on scrimpingmommy blog,
It's also a lovely blog for ideas and beautiful projects.

...The chairs are so similar, so I thought it would make a nice backdrop,
with the Cafe chairs in the foreground.
This Cafe set is in the Spring Catalogue 146361,
and it has adorable stamps, combined with the Framelits 145665,
makes it such a versatile set, and the Bundle is a bargain!
I tried various ways of using it, I think this one was a diecut front with the backdrop adhered behind
I also had the dilemma of to colour or not to colour!
So I went with some colour on most of them!
Decided to colour the tablecloth in this one below......
I cut the backdrop with a circle die and adhered inside the card
Then there's the dilemma of adding the garlands, and cute topiary pots or not!
On one I tried to draw in lines to continue the "window" upwards,
made a mess so it got covered with a garland!
I then decided to try the street scene out on some scrap paper,
I think it works, but then I'm no artist so the perspective may be wrong?
This made a nice simple flat one to go in the post.
I had quite a few birthday cards to make, plus I was trying to design one for my next Class,
and you can see I really enjoyed playing!
I decided to lump my pictures together instead of doing separate posts,
as they are a bit "samey".
Plus it's Sunday, so you may get chance to relax and look at some pics!
I might pop over to the Snippets Playground with this one.....lots of white snippets!
I hope you enjoy today wherever you are, whatever you do.....

ReplyDeleteHi Lesley!
ReplyDeleteNope, you hadn't linked into the current challenge before this post. What beautiful scenes and your snippets card is brilliant. As Mrs A says, it sums up hot Summer days on the Continent - and I do love all the stamps you used! Be still my twitching fingers!
