Hello there
hope all is well with you and yours
have you had a good weekend?
I did hedge and bramble hacking yesterday,
but rewarded with lunch with friends today.
Did this on holiday recently.....an SU stamp with a magazine freebie..
A simple A6 fold back card , I had to extend the stamp across the width,
die cut the lighthouse, then did some gentle watercolouring...
a bit too gentle I think... a bit wishy washy?!
and can you spot the deliberate mistake?
funny how we only notice when taking a picture! does that happen to you?
I inked the edge of the sentiment to make it stand out a little.
Certainly no masterpiece, but was fun to do, and I had limited supplies with me!
See you soon
Lesley

p.s. in case you can't see....I didn't colour the middle boats :)

Cor, thanks for the explanation of your "mistake" . . . I couldn't for the life of me saw any problem with the card! I think it's AWESOME. Great shape and fab scenic stamping. xxx
ReplyDeleteThis is a real WOW Lesley! Love the panoramic view of the bay you've created, LOVE the subtle colouring (definitely not wishy-washy!) and this is the perfect card fold for your scene. I didn't notice the non-coloured boats either and I DO think it's a masterpiece!
ReplyDeleteHope the triffid-hacking went well and that lunch was fun :)
