Peaceful Poppies

Hello again

sharing a card made with the Peaceful Poppies Accessory Pack.

This pack has all sorts of pre die cut elements,

such as vellum, images and sentiments.

I like the black embossed banners and circles which add a striking contrast,

and the vellum flowers to soften the effect.

I added some sequins for a bit of bling.

I added some twine for texture and interest.

I also used a new bundle......So Sentimental has some fab sentiments,

and the die set is just perfect for adding mats and layers.

The rectangles are scallop edged.

Tri Fold Shutter for the birds

Hello again

using the same fancy fold here's some more Tri Fold Shutter cards

but with different papers and stamps for a completely different look...

You can play " spot the difference" on these two....

Lots of fussy cutting of the pretty birds and flowers

I discovered the three centre panels could be all the same size.....

some tutorials made them different sizes, but I like to make things easy!

Tri Fold Shutters for the boys

Hiya

I was asked to do this fancy fold in  class.

I've no idea why it's called a tri fold shutter, but once mastered, it's quite addictive.

It's actually easy to master, plenty of tutorials out there, in different sizes.

I gave them 3 designs for men, with different papers.

Golf theme......some stamping, designer series papers, and die cuts

Above is the design flat, and folded ready to post ....

it becomes a standard size card

Above is one made by a class member, I just loved the extra pop of red,

and how she made the stamped & die cut golfer fit one of the panels.

They also had a garage gears theme here....

I think I used the "stampstodiefor" instructions, but you'll find loads out there.

One class member made a dozen more, all in different themes.

Grace's Garden on Crumb Cake

Garage Gears and a key to the car

Hi there
another special guy birthday....
using Garage Gears, the papers, and a key trinket tied on the twine

I die cut a solid red car, then cut it in two,

and separated them, glued on the back of the stamped car, to add a bit of definition.

This is a technique you can use with many dies.

Honey Bee Exploding Box

Hi there

sharing another class project, an exploding box we did with FREE

Honey Bee papers, and oodles of diecuts.

Above is the box closed, below shows the lid then the outside sides.

We used 12 x 12" card, scored at 4" all round,

then cut from each corner point towards the edge of the central square.

We then used the triangles to fold over and form envelopes.

We also made a separate gift box for inside.

We die cut lots of embellishments to decorate.....

 .....and having used lots of snippets, I'm going to take this over to the

Snippets Playground............see you there for lots more inspiration,

and a catch up with Miss Di who is in charge!

New Home Honey Bee

Hi there

sharing a card to welcome a friend to their new home,

which was a good excuse to use this lovely set Honey Bee.

You can get coordinating paper FREE which has images that can be die cut with this set.

I fussy cut the smaller bees on the inside.

Gold, black and white is a lovely colour combo

(sorry about the quality of pictures.....weather has been dull dull dull!)
