Vintage decoupage

I was given a couple of vintage scene builder paper sets

I like the soft green/grey colours of this one….

The sentiment is an old SU set, the scene was layered onto soft sea foam card.
I added some silver and gold pearls and touches of WOS. (Wink of Stella)

The second fireside scene is warm and cozy.

I inked the edges and distressed them with scissors, adding WOS to the fire.

I added red pearls on the berries, and used scraps of card to raise the top sections.
I sometimes prefer that to foam pads, and it uses up unwanted scraps.

I hope you have a relaxing day

Thanks for taking the time to visit, and I really appreciate your comments

Take care and see you soon

  1. You've made great use of the gifted papers making these two vintage Christmas scenes. A good idea using scraps of card instead of foam pads - it's something I do quite often and of course it's a way of using up every last scrap of card 😉. Mind you my mountain of snippets still keeps growing - I think they breed when we're not looking.

  2. Love the beautiful Vintage decoupage scenes-both beautiful but I love the soft greens on the first one too.

  3. Two fab Christmas makes using the scenic papers. I use foam pads sometimes, and do what you do with snippets at other times! xx
