Don’t worry, I haven’t quite lost my baubles yet!
Although I really don’t want to rush like last year, because I don’t enjoy rushing…
This is a retired set from SU that I really had to have.
I’d been lucky to get the stamp in a sale, and then from a dear friend and upline I got the dies too.
The stamp is Ready for Christmas, the dies are Christmas Staircase thinlits.
I loved this theme from Peace on Earth, so that was my starting point.
I’m taking this one to…..
Just us girls #813, green/ dies
Colour Hues #128, green and gold
Allsorts challenge #844 ribbons and bows (on gifts)
I used some old DSP, stamped the tree, then layered with die cuts.
Stamped and die cut the baubles, then “coloured” them in with stickles and a cocktail stick!
(Pound coin for scale)
I used lots of snippets for both cards
Next is a scene made with old DSP and various elements stamped and die cut.
All SU except the tinsel and baubles here are Gummiapan.
I’m taking this one to
Snippets Playground #527 (see snippets photo)
Enjoy your day
Thanks for taking the time to visit, and I really appreciate your comments
Take care and see you soon
Lesley

At our age, who DOES enjoy rushing around? LOL!
ReplyDeleteLOVE both of these festive makes.
Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground with the second one. See you up in the treehouse for a bacon butty at Sunday Morning Breakfast Club shortly. xxx
Hi Lesley
ReplyDeleteWow!! A real snippet culling there .. .. and two lovely cards to show too.
Well done on getting started on your festive makes. It hasn't happened in my little craft pod yet .. .. despite good intentions when the "things I must improve on this year" list was created in my head! LOL!!!
Hope you are having a good weekend.
Love and hugs
