It's a Hoot

 I had fun with these...

I joined up the branch with the tree (they're two individual stamps),
to make it look like the elder owl is laughing at the antics of the babes.
Decoupaged the owls, usd a blue blend pen to highlight images and sentiment,
and added snowflake sequins for sparkle

Next I stamp all images separately, using a red pen sparingly, adding a resin red heart

Then die cut holes in the tree paper and added decoupaged owls

That's another 3 done!
I’ll enter the last Rudolph Day Challenge of the year HERE

Have a great day

Have a hoot with little piggy

 Today’s card was inspired by

Once Upon a Time Challenge #2 Charlotte's Web

Two Old Bats Anything Halloween

You may think I’ve gone a bit batty, but I saw the Charlotte’s Web ideas and immediately thought of using a new to me set This Birthday Piggy, with an old set Have a Hoot.
This little piggy is part of a special perfect partners promotion, where you can get a special set of dies, through September only.
I then chanced on the CAS challenge for the layout, and the TwoOldBats for hallowe’en.
Phew! That’s a lot of waffle for a simple card!

I used my Stamparatus to get a nice black outline,
also because I used a marker pen to ink the partial image of the branch and spider.
I gently coloured with pencils, and a blender pen.
This is one spider that I’m not actually afraid of!

The Gang's All Meer

I wanted to make a card using these cute Meerkats,

and beside me was the box of goodies I treated myself to from the

new winter mini catalogue.

A lot of people have used the Peek A Hoot stitched tag dies to create
apertures from the "waste".........the tags are so cute, and saved for another day.
The Have a Hoot stamps fit nicely into these shapes,
but I was chuffed when the meerkats did too!

I used a pencil to mark where the spaces would be, and stamped them on the card base,
before placing the "frame" on top.
Below shows the tag dies Peek A hoot.........
whenever I get a new set of dies, I photocopy them so I have a picture
to identify the contents.......very useful when flicking through!
