I’ve a few today…..with lots of oops!

Hi there, I’ve a few to share today….this is my favourite,

as I did have some problems along the way….

You can see I was a bit off the mark stamping the infill..

Here was another attempt which wasn’t much better.

I did finish them off because it created an unintended highlight.

I even tried stamping the infill before the outline, still not much better.
Maybe the light wasn’t good, and I know my eyes are getting worse. (cataracts)

The next one was my least favourite, even my fussy cutting wasn’t good.
I was probably rushing it too, as time was short.

Enjoyed using up some old foiled plaid papers…

I’m hoping someone will appreciate them!

Have a great weekend

Lesley

Christmas Baubles

January Rudolph Day has arrived, time to start the christmas card making again!

I'm kicking off with a lovely prize I was lucky to win last year,

Christmas Baubles

I stamped the background with a little used, gorgeous set Merry Patterns,
Then die cut the baubles from some DSP (Designer Series Paper)

I drew lines for the bauble strings (need more practice at that!)
I'm also sharing the snippets I used so that I can join the Snippets Playground

I added gold twine bows
Evening Evergreen is a lovely dark green, perfect for christmas.
As this is the first time I’ve used the baubles, I’m also entering the NBUS challenge.

Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate your visits and comments.

March Rudolph Day

Happy Rudolph Day!
It's the 25th of the month again, and time for the
Do gallop over and see everyones artwork

I started with this lovely elegant stag from Merry Patterns.
I love his pretty coat!

This led me to play with some old patterned papers.
The cute hedgehog is back ......did some paper piecing,
but whoever gets this one had better appreciate how long it took!
I totally underestimated the difficulty with all the 'fur',
which I ended up decoupaging as well as the patterned paper.

This bottom one looks a bit dull I think.....was meant to be one for the men,
but it needs work!

Have a great day
